Oliver's Olympic Dream

Oliver the otter loved sports. He was always the first one on the playground and the last one to leave.
水獺奧利弗熱愛運動。他總是第一個到操場，最後一個離開。
One morning, Ms. Owl made an exciting announcement. "Our school will be hosting its very own Mini Olympics!" she hooted.
一天早上，貓頭鷹女士做了一個令人興奮的宣布。"我們學校將舉辦自己的迷你奧運會！"她興奮地說。
Oliver's eyes widened with excitement. He had always dreamed of being an Olympic athlete!
奧利弗的眼睛因興奮而睜大。他一直夢想成為一名奧運會運動員！
"Each student can choose one event to compete in," Ms. Owl explained. "We'll have running, jumping, swimming, and more."

Oliver couldn't decide. He loved all sports! He asked his best friend, Eva the elephant, what she thought.

"Well," Eva said thoughtfully, "you're really fast in the water. Why not try swimming?"

Oliver nodded excitedly. Swimming was perfect for an otter!

But as the day of the Mini Olympics approached, Oliver started to feel nervous. What if he wasn't good enough?

The night before the big day, Oliver couldn't sleep. He tossed and turned, worrying about the race.

The next morning, Oliver arrived at school with butterflies in his stomach. He saw the colorful flags and banners decorating the playground, and heard the excited chatter of his classmates.
第二天早上，奧利弗帶著緊張的心情來到學校。他看到操場上裝飾著彩色的旗幟和橫幅，聽到同學們興奮的談話聲。
As he walked to the pool, he saw Eva waving at him. "Good luck, Oliver!" she called. "Remember, just do your best!"
當他走向游泳池時，他看到伊娃向他揮手。"祝你好運，奧利弗！"她喊道。"記住，盡你最大的努力就好！"
Oliver took a deep breath and stepped up to the starting block. He looked at the clear blue water of the pool, sparkling in the sunlight.
奧利弗深吸一口氣，站上了起跑台。他看著泳池清澈的藍色水面，在陽光下閃閃發光。
The whistle blew, and Oliver dove into the water. As soon as he started swimming, all his worries disappeared.

He felt strong and fast, gliding through the water like a fish. He could hear his classmates cheering from the sidelines.

Before he knew it, Oliver had reached the other end of the pool. He touched the wall and looked up, breathless.

To his surprise, he saw Ms. Owl standing there with a big smile. "Congratulations, Oliver!" she said. "You've won the gold medal!"

Oliver couldn't believe it. He had won! As he climbed out of the pool, his classmates surrounded him, cheering and patting him on the back.

At the award ceremony, Oliver stood proudly on the top of the podium. As Ms. Owl placed the gold medal around his neck, he felt a surge of happiness and pride.

But the best part came after the ceremony. Many of his classmates came up to him, asking if he could teach them how to swim better.

Oliver realized that winning wasn't just about the medal. It was about inspiring others and sharing what you love.

From that day on, Oliver started a swimming club at school. He helped his friends improve their strokes and taught them to love the water as much as he did.

As he watched his friends splashing and laughing in the pool, Oliver felt like a true champion. He had not only achieved his own Olympic dream but had also helped others discover their love for sports.
